Thank you for your interest in The Lamoille Community Presbyterian Church. We are pleased to host two ceremonies a month that are of Christian faith. Please see our calendar for available dates. Below are the guidelines to assist you in making plans for your wedding.
Pastor/Official - Wedding parties are responsible for making arrangements and payments directly with their chosen officiant performing the ceremony.
The church is not responsible for any outside business or pastors or your contracts with them.
If you are doing not have an Officiant, we may be able to assist you.
Maximum Occupancy - Including the wedding party, the church sanctuary has a maximum occupancy of 100 people.
Flowers - Flowers must be in containers. Flower girls are welcome to throw silk flower petals (no live flower petals please).
Candles - One (1) Unity Candle is permitted. No other candles or flammable materials are allowed in the sanctuary or on the church grounds.
Smoking/Alcohol -Smoking and alcohol are prohibited in the church and on the church grounds. It is the responsibility of the wedding party to ensure their guests are aware of the smoking and alcohol policy.
Music - Use of the church audio equipment is available for CD, IPod, smart phone, etc. and will be operated by the church host. The church also has a keyboard for wedding parties who would like to provide a pianist for their ceremony.
Exiting the Church - Traditional rice is prohibited. We suggest using bird seed or bubbles outside of the church to celebrate the newlyweds.
Wedding License – The license must be brought to the rehearsal and given to the church host. If no rehearsal is scheduled, the license must be given to the host prior to the ceremony. There will be no ceremony without the license. Elko County marriage licenses can be obtained at the Elko County Court House , 571 Idaho St, Elko NV 89801 Telephone 775-753-4620 Help Line: 775-753-4600 Clean Up - All personal affects, including decorations, flower petals, food, clothes, etc. in the sanctuary and bridal room must be removed prior to leaving the church.
Wedding Fees - The church sanctuary is available to rent for $600.00. The rental fee is based in 4 hours to be used as suggested: 2 1/2 hours for decorating, pictures, and ceremony, and 1 1/2 Hours for the rehearsal. A church host is required to be on site at all times. Additional time may be available at an hourly rate of $150.
A $300.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the church. Dates and times will not be guaranteed until a deposit is received. The deposit is included in the $600 church fee. The balance is due no later than 45 days prior to the wedding. If the final deposit is not received by that date, the wedding may be cancelled at the church's discretion.
